A total of six new pirates may be featuring in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," according to a new report. The report is based on leaked concept arts of the pirate characters in the movie. Details about the faction they support in the movie have not been revealed. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]

The six pirates will reportedly inhabit the same planet as the character "Kira," which may be the character Daisy Ridley will be playing in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." According to a report by MakingStarWars, the pirates will be a "scruffy" looking group with a leader. No official confirmation about the report has come from the producers of the movie and readers are advised to consider the report as a rumour at this time.

According to the report, the main pirate or the pirate leader has two concept arts. The character has straight long hair with a goatee. The first concept art describes him wearing a Stormtrooper's bracers and gloves. He is also wearing an old red cape.

The second concept art, which may be the final version, reportedly shows the main pirate wearing a metal plate on his chest. The red cape is replaced with a blue coat. The character is wearing grey pants and has two rifles on his back that form an x-shape.

The main pirate may be the leader of the other five pirates. The concept art of one of the pirates beside the main pirate wears black leather pants with black boots. He reportedly has goggles on his forehead and carries a bazooka.

The possible addition of pirates in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is in line with the franchise that has featured many pirate characters in the past. Readers should note that the main character in the original movie, Han Solo, was a smuggler. Even the animated series from the franchise featured a group of pirates led by a character called Hondo Ohnaka.

Two other pirates described in the report are a short fat man with a metallic claw for his right hand and a tall skinny pirate with a backpack that has sort of tubes sticking out. The report speculates this to be some form of communication device that pirates may need.

The last pirate described in the report is said to be wearing a cloak, which reportedly looks like a character from "Assassin's Creed." Will "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" feature a pirate who is also an assassin?
