Another name has been added to the list of characters in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The identity of the character still remains a mystery. However, it could supposedly be who Gwendolyn Christie would portray in the movie.

Disney and Lucasfilm have just recently released the character names of the new casts featured in the teaser. UK's The Week generously shared on its site the "trading cards" used to label the actors' names according to their role in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Daisy Ridley is Rey, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, John Boyega will play as Finn and the Sith with the cross-guard lightsaber has been identified as Kylo Ren. However, character names for the other actors such as Gwendolyn Christie, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson and Andy Serkis, to name a few, have not been revealed yet. Although, according to Comicbookmovie Christie may be playing as Captain Phasma.

Captain Phasma is reportedly the new name registered by Disney and Lucasfilm. Aside from a fan-fiction called "Tarkin's Fist," which describes Phasma as a Stormtrooper pilot, the identity of the character still remains a mystery. However, Comicbookmovie writer Mark "RorMachine" Cassidy is certain it refers to Gwendolyn Christie's role as being John Boyega's Stormtrooper commander. Likewise, fans over at the Jedi Council Forums section of TheForce.net have been speculating on the character's identity. Users Han Drolo, Mystery Roach and starocean90 are also certain the name pertains to Christie's role in the J.J. Abrams movie. However, user Flapjack4 supposed the word "Phasma" could possibly pertain to an alien creature.

It's interesting to note that previous reports claimed Andy Serkis will play as some kind of alien Sith exempt from the Rule of Two. The International Business Times once claimed the actor will portray the role of a 50-year old man, or someone who's too old that he looks like a "zombie almost risen from the dead." Serkis was supposedly even given the code name "Uber" in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," much like Lupita Nyong'o's rumoured Rose character name.

Regardless, Lucasfilm and Disney have yet to fully give the details regarding Captain Phasma's identity. Likewise, they have yet to also reveal the descriptions of the recently released character names for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
