Some concept photos for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" describes Daisy Ridley's chase sequence seen at the teaser. However, few notable differences are spotted in regard to Kira's wagon-speeder in comparison to that seen in the trailer. Regardless, these plot detail remains a rumour until otherwise confirmed.

Jason Ward over at Making Star Wars credits Thom Tenery's concept photos, which detail the chase scene over at Tatooine in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." In the photos, Kira is seen riding a wagon-speeder as she chases a ship that has stolen her X-Wing Fighter. However, the wagon in the image supposedly differs from that seen in the trailer. The photo reveals Kira riding a wagon that's used for hauling things in. Likewise, the concept photo reveals no sign of John Boyega's wounded Stormtrooper aboard the speeder as opposed to the International Business Times' report. IBTimes suggests the teaser shows Kira rushing off with her automobile to rescue the Stormtrooper after she sees his burning TIE Fighter.

However, Ward claims the desert chase story is basically the same in all six concept photos created for the movie. Kira is supposedly on a quest to retrieve her stolen X-Wing Fighter after it was crashed by Oscar Isaac's character. One photo shows the chase scene happening very fast as "Kira races at top speed to fly her speeder up into the ship." In some concept photos, the design of the aircraft shows a possibility for Kira to just fly her speeder inside it. Meanwhile, Ward claims the others hint Kira may have to jump from her speeder and unto the ship to retrieve her X-Wing. However, the ship is allegedly already starting to slow its flight, judging from the presence of smoke coming from its engine. Worse, Ward claims that from all the concept photos, the freighter-size ship looks as if it's been damaged during the course of its flight.

"The ship is pretty much a B-29 bomber from WWII on a long body with two wings that are pretty short. I can't help but ponder if this lead to The Ghost in Star Wars Rebels or if it was a coincidence," Jason Ward says.

Additionally, Ward claims a Sullustan pilots the grey and yellow-coloured ship. In one concept photo of the chase scene, he looks behind to see if Kira has caught up to retrieve the X-Wing, which has reportedly already been dismantled. Ward sees from another photo for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" that the wings and nose of the X-Wing are gone.
