A new image of the main villain Kylo Ren from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has leaked online. The face of the character looks similar to what some of the fans may have seen in earlier leaks. [Spoiler alert]

Fans of the franchise may have seen Kylo Ren in the first trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” The video only showed a hooded figure from the back, wielding a cross guard lightsaber. A new image leaked online by MakingStarWars shows the helmeted face of the character.

The report includes an image that was leaked online earlier and also a new image showing the face of Kylo Ren. The new image appears to be from a puzzle, which may be released later to promote the movie.

Readers will note that there is some variation in the picture from the earlier leak compared to the new image. The earlier image has yellow lines around the eyes of a black helmet, the yellow lines are said to have been removed in the final version of the helmet that made it into “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” The metallic helmet shown in this second leaked picture is said to be the one that fans will get to see.

Fans of the franchise may not have to wait long to verify the authenticity of the leak as the new trailer of the movie is slated to be released next week at the “Star Wars” Celebration event. According to this report by MakingStarWars, the trailer will show the face of Kylo Ren.

According to the report, the trailer runs for about one minute and fifty seconds and shows a crashed Star Destroyer on a sand planet, Finn carrying a blue lightsaber, Gwendoline Christie as a chrome Stormtrooper, Poe Dameron shooting down a TIE fighter, the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, a CGI character that the report calls “Rose,” the Millennium Falcon and Darth Vader’s burned helmet on a podium.

The next trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will not feature Luke Skywalker, according to the report. There is no mention about whether or not the fans will get to see Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Carrie Fisher as Leia in the trailer.
