Details about an action sequence of “Star Wars: Episode 9” have leaked online. Daisy Ridley (Rey) will reportedly film an action heavy scene in the middle of this month with fellow cast members John Boyega (Finn) and Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca). The following article contains spoilers.

According to a report by Mike Zeroh [see below] the action sequences that will be filmed in the middle of this month involves Ridley’s stunt double and some extras, confirming that this is an action sequence. The scenes will be filmed at the Pinewood Studios in UK. There will also be a Millennium Falcon set piece in the action sequence, which means the fight will happen inside or near the iconic ship.

Just as in the previous movies, the heroes will be in different groups throughout the movie. Rey will reportedly be with Chewbacca and Finn. Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) on the other hand will be with the soccer droid BB-8 and some of the other new characters that are being introduced in the film.

Keri Russel is one of the new cast members of the movie. There have been no official announcements about the character she will be playing, but she is said to be working closely with Adam Driver (Kylo Ren) and a group of extras who will be using axes and spears, which means they could be playing Knights of Ren.

The report suggests that it is possible that Russel could be playing an apprentice to Kylo Ren. She could also be the replacement to General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson), if the General decides to betray the new Supreme Leader.

Filming of “Star Wars: Episode 9” started recently, with JJ Abrams at the helm. The film is set to be released on Dec. 20, 2019 in the US. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date for Australia.
