A new leaked scene description from “Star Wars: Episode 8” has surfaced online. The scene shows how powerful Luke has become, and how he starts training his new apprentice Rey. The scene is said to have been filmed in Ireland, depicting the planet Ahch-To.

[Spoiler alert]

A video posted on the YouTube channel of Mike Zeroh talks about a scene in which Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) trains Rey (Daisy Ridley). The leak is apparently from a source familiar with the developments of the movie, and someone who previously leaked information about “The Force Awakens,” including the title.

According to the new leak, Luke and Rey train with two lightsabers. The first one is the green lightsaber that Luke uses and the other in the blue one that Rey brought with her.

In the scene, Luke uses the Force to gently pull the lightsber in Rey’s hands towards him. He then takes out his own lightsaber, again using the Force. With his eyes closed, the old Jedi Master dismantles the two lightsabers that are floating in the air.

The two crystals that power the lihtsabers are revealed after the devices are dismantled. This could be the first step for Rey in “Star Wars: Episode 8” to become a Jedi. Each young Padawan has to build his/her own lightsaber. The crystal is the central piece in the device, and Luke explains its significance to Rey in the scene.

The leak is unverified, so readers are advised to treat it as a rumour at this time. Multiple pictures and plot points from the movie have surfaced online over the past few months, giving the fans some hints about the story in the next movie.

Rian Johnson has already confirmed that the filming of “Star Wars: Episode 8” is nearly done. Once it gets the approval from executives at Disney, the movie would either go into reshoots or postproduction soon.
