“Star Wars: Episode 8” could already be doing some reshoots in Croatia, according to a new report. No official announcement has been made about additional filming for the movie. Filming of the movie wrapped long back and Director Rian Johnson had previously revealed that the movie is in the post production phase of development.

Chloe Bruce, who was a stunt performer for “The Force Awakens” and was involved in the principal photography for the new movie, posted messages about travelling to Belfast, London and Croatia, and Star Wars News Net took note of it. All the three places are filming locations for Johnson’s movie.

It should be noted that Bruce was involved in some night shoots in Croatia. As none of the main cast members, such as Daisy Ridley (Rey) and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), were spotted at these locations; it is possible that Bruce was filming for some other project.

However, the report points out that it was around this time last year that Johnson started some early work for “Star Wars: Episode 8.” So, the additional filming could have taken place even without the main cast members, as the director may have been interested in capturing the same weather conditions around this time of the year, to match the scenes he filmed previously.

While the fans wait for the movie to be released, new theories keep surfacing online. A theory posted on the YouTube channel of Mike Zeroh suggests that there could be some romance on the cards in the next film.

[Spoiler alert]

According to Mike, there could be some romance between Rey and Finn (John Boyega) in “Star Wars: Episode 8.” The theory is based on the fact that the former Stormtrooper was very protective of her on the planet Jakku. The two developed a bond of friendship in the film, and Mike suggests that this will evolve into something romantic in the next movie.
