A new set of leaked videos showing the filming of “Star Wars: Episode 8” in Ireland have surfaced online. One of the videos shows a scene being filmed from a helicopter. Meanwhile, new evidence has surfaced that suggests that additional photography for the movie could be taking place right now or could start very soon.

[Spoiler alert]

Making Star Wars, the fan site that got a lot of the leaks right for “The Force Awakens” last year, has leaked new videos taken at the production set in Ireland. The first video posted on YouTube shows a helicopter hovering over the set with a camera on the front.

The last scene in “The Force Awakens” was a long shot of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) on the planet Ahch-To that was filmed from a helicopter. Is the leaked video showing the filming of the continuation of that scene?

There will be no time gap between movies this time around. So, “Star Wars: Episode 8” will pickup from right where “The Force Awakens” left off.

The second leaked video shows the landscape of the set where some of the scenes were filmed. The third video shows some of the cast and crew members filming a scene, but it is not clear what the scene is about.

Meanwhile, Star Wars News Net has compiled new evidence that suggests that additional photography for the film may have already begun or will start soon. The report points out that Carrie Fisher (Leia) will not spend too much time at the New York Comic Con because of her involvement in the next film.

Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata) had previously stated that she is yet to film her motion capture scenes for “Star Wars: Episode 8.” So, although the filming has wrapped and the movie is currently in the post production phase of development, there seems to be a lot of work that is still left to be completed.
