A leaked scene description about “Star Wars: Episode 8” reveals the incredible new Force powers that Luke Skywalker has developed in the years of seclusion. This is an action sequence involving the character that was filmed in Ireland.

[Spoiler alert]

Fans who have been closely following the leaks of the movie know that there will be a confrontation between the Knights of Ren and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) on Ahch-To. Now a new video posted on the YouTube channel of Mike Zeroh reveals that there will be a duel between Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and his uncle in the film.

Filming of the movie took place on Skellig Michael, but the production crew also built a replica of the beehive huts on Ireland. At that time it was speculated that this was done to cut short the filming on the island for environmental concerns, but the new leak suggests that there was another reason for the artificial set.

According to a source, Luke becomes so angry during his fight with Kylo Ren that a beehive hut blows up. This may be the first taste of the old Jedi’s powers in “Star Wars: Episode 8,” and may also explain why he has been hiding on Ahch-To.

It is not clear if Luke purposely caused the explosion, or it happened accidentally. If the explosion was unintentional, then Luke may have become so powerful that he is no longer able to control his own powers.

The confrontation between Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren in “Star Wars: Episode 8” may not be as dramatic and iconic as the confrontation between Darth Vader and his son. But, if the leak turns out to be true, the duel between an uncle and his nephew is promising be a cinematic treat for the fans. The film is set to be released on Dec. 15 in Australia.
