The first sneak peek video of “Star Wars: Episode 8” was reportedly shown at a special event in Las Vegas to a few lucky fans. The video is expected to be shown to the audience at the Celebration event in Europe next month.

According to a video posted on the YouTube channel of The Stupendous Wave, some of the fans got to see a sneak peek video of the film at Las Vegas a few days ago. The video doesn’t reveal what exactly was shown at this event. It is being suggested that the same video will be shown at the Celebration event that is set to begin on July 15 at ExCel London Exhibition Centre.

Another video posted on the YouTube cannel of Mike Zeroh claims that there will indeed be a teaser shown at the Celebration event. The source of this information is someone who is friends with a worker at “Star Wars Celebration.”

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is expected to be the main focus of the event in London, and this was also confirmed by the source at the event. However, the source also revealed that there will be a teaser of “Star Wars: Episode 8” that will also be shown at the event.

Rian Johnson has already confirmed that most of the filming of the movie is already complete, but it is still ongoing. The video at the Celebration event is only expected to be a very brief teaser, and not a full blown trailer. It is also not clear if this video will be released to the general public.

“Star Wars: Episode 8” is set to be released on Dec. 15, 2017. Apart from a sneak peek video of the movie, the Celebration event may also reveal the highly speculated title of the film.
