Harrison Ford was recently reported to have already wrapped up his Han Solo scenes for "Star Wars: Episode VII." Now he is joined by another cast, Christina Chong, who's supposedly also done filming.

Christian Chong was initially reported as a new cast of "Star Wars: Episode VII" on July 17. Latino Review claimed sources confirmed the actress has signed on for a minor role. But prior to the site's reveal, the "24: Live Another Day" star herself already hinted at her involvement in the sequel through some Instagram posts in May.

According to Angry Asian Man, the actress posted a photo during the first day of filming on May 17. She captioned it, "@bad_robot: #dayone pic.twitter.com/Hi0epiG4wO" Very cool!! #VII." Likewise, on the succeeding days on May 23 and 25, she had mentioned a work in #abudhabi" which could mean she had scenes filmed at the desert. However, at that moment no further details were revealed regarding her casting. Latino-Review's report was also not followed up.

However, Jedi News UK recently spotted a Twitter post that seemed to confirm that the UK-born actress is indeed in the new "Star Wars" film. The tweet would literally be the first reported confirmation regarding Christina Chong's involvement in the movie. However, as with other reported production details concerning the J.J. Abrams film, fans may have to wait for any statement from Lucasfilm or Bad Robot to officially announce her casting.

Little is known of who Christina Chong will be playing in "Star Wars: Episode VII." It's believed she was given a minor role because she was cast late. However, Screenrant claims she may eventually have a bigger and more important appearance in the succeeding "Star Wars" movies including "Star Wars: Episode VIII."

"Star Wars: Episode VII" opens in U.S. cinemas on Dec. 18, 2015. The movie is reportedly shrouded with so much secrecy that cast and crew have remained tight-lipped on production details. It may be some time, or when the actual movie comes out, that fans will know Christina Chong's role in the sequel.
