“Star Trek Beyond” will reportedly be shown early in select AMC IMAX theatres. The theatres will show all three movies in the new trilogy as part of a marathon viewing session. Meanwhile, Rihanna has teased a new pop single for the movie.

Select AM theatres will be showing the movie on July 20th at 4: 30 pm, Collider reports. The marathon will not continue every day. This is said to be a “one-night special event” only.

Those who participate in the event can get some goodies. Collectable items like special lanyard and Star Fleet patch are said to be some of the items that the fans can expect. However, diehard fans may be more interested in watching the movie early.

Expectations are high after Justin Lin, who has been a fan of the franchise ever since he was a kid, helmed the project. Lin took on the director’s role after delivering multiple successes in the “Fast and Furious” franchise starring Vin Diesel.

Meanwhile, Rihanna has teased a new pop song titled “Sledgehammer” for “Star Trek Beyond.” The teaser video has some scenes from the upcoming movie, including the main ship The Enterprise.

The main plot of the movie revolves around the USS Enterprise exploring the furthest reaches of uncharted space and discovering a new enemy. The new enemy will put everyone of the crew to the test, along with everything that the Federation stands for.
