Tom Holland is making a new movie with ‘Suicide Squad’ cast Joel Kinnaman. The 19-year old Spider-Man star recently shared a photo on social media to share a behind-the-scenes look at their film.

The photo was posted on Tom Holland’s Instagram page on Wednesday, July 22, along with the caption, “ADR session in Toronto. So excited for this movie.” He also tagged his co-star Joel Kinnaman, who plays as Rick Flagg in David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad.” Holland’s post has since received over four thousand likes.

The actor’s photo intrigued commentators who were curious to know what movie the two stars are filming. The Wrap’s Jeff Sneider says Kinnaman is playing the role of Elliot Baker in “Backcountry.” He reportedly started filming for the suspense thriller back in March, just as he was confirmed as a cast in “Suicide Squad.”

In “Backcountry” Kinnaman plays the role of a divorced father who attempts to develop a better relationship with his two sons. Tom Holland stars opposite the “RoboCop” actor and plays as Bradley, one of Elliot Baker’s sons.

The Wrap on its Web site describes “Backcountry” as a suspense thriller and a story of survival. The story kicks off when Elliot Baker is asked to look after his two sons while his ex-wife (Rachelle LeFevre) go on a vacation with her new husband.

“What starts as a bonding opportunity turns into a nightmarish adventure when they get stranded in a deserted cabin near the lake as night falls and a snowstorm rages. Bradley (Holland) and Caleb (Hynes-White) quickly learn more about their father and what they truly mean to him in this gripping tale of family and survival,” writer Jeff Sneider said.

Production reportedly took place in March in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and ended on March 28, after which Kinnaman started his work with “Suicide Squad.” Kyle Mann, the movie’s scriptwriter and producer, said most of the scenes in “Backcountry” were filmed in the wilderness and in deeep snow. This explains another Instagram photo Tom Holland shared on Wednesday, where he captioned the snap, “cold cold days!”

On Sunday, July 19, the new Spider-Man star also took to his Instagram account to announce his arrival in Toronto. The young actor simply captioned a photo of the country’s skyline with, “What’s up Toronto!!!” Fans were quick to speculate the 19-year old was at the country to film something Marvel related, like “Captain America: Civil War” or that he was teasing a film location for the “Spider-Man” reboot.
