English pop group Spice Girls have announced that they will have their grand get-together performance in July 2017. The concert will be held at Hyde's Park in London.

“Well, this is the thing. It is our 20th anniversary this year,” the "America's Got Talent" judge Mel B a.k.a. Scary Spice said in an interview at "Live with Kelly". She told host Kelly Ripa that 2016 "would have been perfect for a reunion" but finding a concert venue was an issue. "So what we’ll hopefully do is, we’re planning on doing something to celebrate next year.”

Mel B also appeared alongside Geri Halliwel-Horner (Ginger Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) in England and discussed their planned concert at Hyde Park, according to The Sun UK. A source from the site said, “Mel B, Emma and Geri agreed Hyde Park would be the ultimate way to launch a reunion next July for their 21st anniversary." The insider also added, “It gives them a year to plan everything and make sure their comeback is spectacular. It would be the most-talked about gig of the year.”

The three said that they were hoping Mel C (Sporty Spice) and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) could join them. However, the two members have yet to confirm their appearances. According to the insider, Victoria liked the idea of daughter Harper Beckham watching her perform as a Spice Girl member. “It’s a long shot but there’s a chance she would join in at the London date." The site also mentioned that Joyce Smyth will be managing the girl band behind 90's hits "Wannabe" and "Two Become One".

The rumours of the Spice Girls reunion began circulating in 2015. The group last performed together at the closing ceremony of the London Summer Olympics.
