2K’s first-person shooter series, “Bioshock,” can be regarded as one of the best in the genre. The series spawned three games, all of which were critically acclaimed, with the last installment “Bioshock Infinite” becoming the most popular among the rest. It seems fans can once again live the experience, if a recent online retailer leak of a possible bundle is to be believed.

Raru is a South African retailer that ships out several products including movies, gadgets and video games. Just recently, several visitors of the website saw that Raru has listed a 2K bundle titled “The Bioshock Collection.” The listing was immediately pulled down by Raru but Videogamer managed to get a picture of it. The listing stated that the collection will release on Nov. 27 this year for new-gen consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is on sale for a discounted price of R799 (AU $74).

2K is yet to confirm that there really is a “Bioshock” series bundle. In a statement released to IGN regarding the recent leak, a 2K spokesperson noted that the company does not respond to rumours and speculations. If there will be one, the games included will likely be “Bioshock,” “Bioshock 2” and “Bioshock Infinite” along with all of the DLCs.

Considering how other developers have released remastered versions of previous titles in similar bundles, it will not be a surprise if 2K releases the first two “Bioshock” titles with updated graphics. Compared to “Bioshock Infinite,” the first two titles had lower quality graphics given the limited technology at the time of release.

What made the “Bioshock” series very popular to players was mainly its deep and amazing storyline. The first two iterations of the series puts the players in an adventure on the underwater city of Rapture. The two games' stories were eight years apart from each other, making them direct sequels.

“Bioshock Infinite” on the other hand is a spin-off title that lets the player travel in the airborne city of Columbia. The game plays out very similar to standard shooters. The biggest difference of the game to other shooters is that it allows the player to use magical abilities in combat.
