SmartWear, DNC Headset and PlayStation 4 controller are the three major accessories made compatible with Sony Xperia Z3 series to provide boost of experience in several apps and services. Know the functions of these accessories for the 2014 Sony flagship smartphone.

SmartWear Experience

SmartBand Talk SWR30, SmartBand Talk Wrist Strap SWR310, SmartWatch 3 SWR50 and SmartWatch Wrist Strap SWR510 are upcoming SmartWear accessories from Sony Mobile which expected to support Xperia Z3.

1. SmartBand Talk SWR30: It features the Lifelog Android app that tracks down activities of the user. Other functions include voice calls, audio recording with six languages supported and sunlight readable display screen.

2. SmartBand Talk Wrist Strap SWR310: A variation of SmartBand Talk SWR30 which boasts exchangeable colourful wrist straps.

3. SmartWatch 3 SWR50: Android Wear powered accessory made by Sony Mobile that offers several functions such as voice search, weather reports, travel information, notifications, reminders and commuting details.

4. SmartWatch 3 Wrist Strap SWR510: A variation of SmartWatch 3 SWR50 that features interchangeable wrist straps.

Digital Noise Cancellation Headset

For audio experience, Sony Xperia Z3 is compatible and supports the Digital Noise Cancellation technology and its respective accessory. DNC Headset MDR-NC31EM offers up to 98 per cent of blocking surrounding noise to provide users enjoyable audio experience from movies, music or streaming apps.

It also supports full-range audio with deep bass, strong medium register and clear highs, and functions with all types of music. Users can also use the headset to perform hands free calls. It uses the 3.5 millimetre 5-pole audio port on the device. DNC headset for Xperia Z2 is likely compatible with Xperia Z3.

PlayStation 4 Gaming Experience

Sony Xperia Z3 features the exclusive full access to Sony PlayStation 4 game contents and can be played using a dedicated accessory. It is called the Game Control Mount GCM10 that delivers the icon shock vibration and touch pad experience when attached to a DUALSHOCK4 wireless controller.

GCM10 securely locks the mobile device and DS4 controller in place for safety gameplays with Remote Play. However, GCM10 only supports Xperia devices with screen sizes from four to eight inches.
