Sony Xperia XZ Premium is ready for pre-order in the UK. It is slated to be shipped in the first week of June, according to reports.

Recently, Amazon and two other sites in the UK have launched a pre-order of Sony’s upcoming flagship, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The phone is set to be released in the first week of June. However, Sony has not said anything about the release otherwise.

Even though Sony has not revealed more details about the pre-order and release of the phone, UK-based retailers Amazon, Unlocked-mobiles and Clove already have it up on their website. These are the three retailers offering the phone for pre-order. Both Amazon and Clove offer the flagship for £649 (AU$1,046). On the other hand, Unlocked-mobile offers the best deal by selling it at £640 (AU$1,030).

Colour availability

There are two colours available for the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, which are Deepsea Black and Luminous Chrome. Both have a mirror finish to make it look more elegant, according to Sony. However, Amazon and Clove only offer the Deepsea Black colour of the phone. On the other hand, Unlocked-mobiles offers both colours of the phone.

Receiving pre-order

According to the Amazon pre-order page, the phone will be released on June 1. Furthermore, if there are buyers who order from Amazon, they could also avail of the insurance for the phone that covers theft and damage. This means would-be buyers would be able to get a replacement anytime a damage or theft of the phone has occurred.

In Clove’s pre-order page, the phone will be released some time in the first week of June. It will be a SIM free phone, meaning it is not locked to other carriers and can be used with other networks. As mentioned earlier, only the Deepsea Black will be available in Clove and Amazon pre-orders.

Unlocked-mobiles will receive the phone the latest as it says on their pre-order page. It is expected to arrive on June 14. However, it does offer a next-day delivery programme as well as international delivery.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium is apparently going to become a gamechanger for all the premium phones. The upcoming phone will have great features that are considered an overkill for many fans. This includes 4K display with a new camera that features Motion Eye technology. This will allow the phone to detect and capture motion to shoot ultra slow motion videos at 960 frames per second.
