Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is rolling out to Sony Xperia Tablet Z LTE SGP321 from Vodafone which also has been spotted on XperiaFirm. Swisscom and Mobitel in Bulgaria are also pushing out the firmware.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z Android 4.4.4 KitKat Update

XperiaBlog caught the official Android 4.4.4 KitKat firmware update for Sony Xperia Tablet Z. It is rolling out from Vodafone in European regions including Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain and Germany.

In Belgium, Android 4.4.4 KitKat software upgrade for Sony Xperia Tablet Z is also available from Swisscom and Mobitel. However, Android 4.4.4 KitKat is not yet found on Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and Xperia ZR smartphones but expected to rollout soon.

Android 4.4.4 Kitkat for the Xperia Tablet Z carries the firmware build version 10.5.1.A.0.283 which is the same with the build certified by PTCRB on August 25. As of now, official software support page for the tablet remains at 10.5.A.0.230 Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS delivering default features and enhancements, camera upgrades, screenshot menu and latest Sony apps and services.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z LTE SGP321 is eligible to receive another major software upgrade which is likely to be Android L expected to rollout before 2014 ends. The tablet was released in May 2013 with expected end of life cycle on November 2014.
