FreeXperia Project Confirms CyanogenMod 11 Support For Sony Xperia T2 Ultra

Users of Sony Xperia T2 Ultra preferring custom ROMs can soon install stable builds of CyanogenMod 11 custom firmware via FreeXperia Project. A press release from FreeXperia Project announced the firmware support of FXP344 with CyanongenMod 11 running Android 4.4.4 KitKat for the smartphone.

At this time, FreeXperia Project firmware releases for Sony Xperia T2 Ultra are still in alpha builds, which is not recommended for everyone. Alpha builds of custom firmware contain bugs and will be fixed during wider testing. Most major features on the alpha builds are considered ready for daily use for any users capable of utilising custom firmware.

One significant error FreeXperia Project noted on the alpha builds is regarding the camera, which crashes when saving an image, but video recording works normally. Click here to view the list of firmware builds from FreeXperia Project with CyanogenMod 11.
