In May, evleaks, who is well-known for prediciting forthcoming smartphones, had revealed images an unnanounced phone called Sony Lavender with a bezel-less design. A newer tweet from him has revealed that the same device will be releasing in next month as the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra (E5503). This device is expected to be the first Sony’s handset to be launched without having side bezels.

According to Mobipicker, Sony Xperia C5 Ultra (previously reported as T4 Ultra by the publication) is expected to be equipped with a display screen of 5.5 inches with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. This equates to a pixel density of 401 ppi. Under the hood of this handset is a MediaTek MT-6752 SoC hosting a 64-bit octa-core CPU of 1.7 GHz and a Mali-T760 GPU.

It also boasts of a 2 GB of RAM in it. The device also comes with two cameras front and rear facing— both of 13 MP. The rear camera will be enabled with an LED flash. The phone model has a dual SIM capability and will be shipped with Android 5.0 pre-installed.

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra supports 4G LTE connectivity. It’s pricing has not been officially declared but rumors indicate that its price range would be around $280 to $300.

As of this writing, there has been no specific word as to when the handset is likely to be unveiled. Moreover, Sony has not released any official information on the existence of the device.

It is expected that the phone will hit the market before the end of August, claims Tech Radar. It further states that a launch event will be held for announcing the handset earlier in the month of August. Probably, this may not be the last leak information to come out. There may be more, so people have may have to wait to get further clarification of what may turn out to be the exact features and specs of Xperia C5 Ultra.
