Sony put in a lot of effort in creating their Android Wear device called the Sony SmartWatch 3. Their innovative ideas for this watch, the impressive hardware and features make it stand out, with Tech Radar and Gizmag saying it could be one of the best Android Wear devices in the market today. Know more about this watch below.

Features

Sony SmartWatch 3 has many great features to boast. It has an internal storage memory of 4GB. It is the perfect device for music lovers because this watch can store thousands of tracks and its player is easy to navigate.

It is also a good gadget for fitness because of its GPS tracking capability, something that is currently lacking in other Android Wear devices. it can log runs more accurately than mobile phones can, allowing users to leave the chunky mobile behind.

Tech Radar notes that the device is actually a square block that pops in and out of watch straps. Sony noted that the square block can also be used in other devices, but refused to name which devices are compatible with the SmartWatch 3 and what its functionalities will be as an extension.

Design

The Sony SmartWatch 3 features an IP68-rated dust and waterproof coating. Weighing only 38g, this watch is so light that it is comfortable for users wearing it. The design is not easy on the eyes, however, and is still reminiscent of earlier Android Wear devices.

The device itself is square-shaped, with premium metal backing. However, Gizmag notes that the rubber wristband spills over the screen, making it look less charming. It may find difficulty competing with the design of the more elegant and premium-looking, round-faced Moto 360.

Performance

Performance-wise, the Sony SmartWatch 3 does not disappoint. What it lacks in its lacklustre appearance, it makes up for in functionality and performance. The screen is bright, providing clear viewing angles even under direct sunlight, and is highly responsive. It provides speedy response with its standard 512MB of RAM and a rather unusual 1.2GHz quad-core ARM A7 processor.

The Sony SmartWatch 3 also boasts that their battery life lasts 2-5 days on a single charge, which Tech Radar thinks is an ambitious claim, given competitors require users to charge daily. Unlike its competitors, though, Sony has equipped the SmartWatch 3 with a microUSB charging port, which lets users charge the device from anywhere even without the charging dock.

Sony SmartWatch 3 may be classified as a fitness product rather than a piece of jewelry, but it certainly does the job well. People with active lifestyles in particular will find this a perfect fit. this is perfect for you.
