Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal and film producer Scott Rudin joked about U.S. President Barack Obama’s race in emails that have been leaked online. The embarrassing email is the latest of the documents hacked and released online by a group that called itself the Guardians of Peace.

According to the emails released by Buzzfeed in parts, Pascal, who were about to attend a breakfast with Obama in November 2013, asked Rudin for suggestions on what to ask Obama at the “stupid Jeffrey breakfast,” which was hosted by DreamWorks Animation head Jeffrey Katzenberg.

The award-winning producer told her to ask the president if he would like to finance movies, which Pascal highly doubted. “Should I ask him if he liked DJANGO?” Pascal asked, referring to the Quentin Tarantino Western film about African American slavery in the 19th century.

“12 YEARS,” Rudin responded, which most probably referred to the historical drama “12 Years a Slave,” also about slavery of African Americans during the antebellum period in the Southern U.S. As if it was a game, Pascal replied with a couple more films starring African American actors, saying, “Or the butler. Or think like a man?” (sic)

“The Butler” is another historical drama loosely based on Eugene Allen, an African American who served as a butler at the White House for decades. “Think Like a Man” is an ensemble rom-com starring African American casts.

“Ride-along. I bet he likes Kevin Hart,” Rudin emailed back, mentioning one of the stars in “Think Like a Man.” As Buzzfeed noted, Pascal is a major donor for the Democratic party in the U.S.

Just recently, terse email exchanges between Pascal and Rudin in February were released online. The subject of the emails was about the Steve Jobs biopic that have been years in the making, as well as about Angelina Jolie’s insistence that director David Fincher work on her “Cleopatra” film.

Rudin, who produced Brad Pitt’s 2011 Oscar-nominated film “Moneyball,” was fed up with Pascal for not “shutting down” Jolie. In one of their emails, he called Pitt’s wife a “minimally talented spoiled brat.”
