Sony cuts down price of PlayStation 4 in Europe and releases sale on many titles

Sony has been generous to fans as of late with discounts for games and consoles left and right. A new announcement by the tech giant now states that the current top-selling console is getting another price cut in a region.

European gamers will now have the chance to purchase the PlayStation 4 at what Sony says is the best value for the console to date. Sony’s PlayStation 4 can now be bought for 349.99 euros/299.99 pounds (AU $549.92) at European shelves, Gamespot reports.

"Since the launch of PS4 our aim has always been to provide players with the best gaming experiences at the best value, and we’ve been thrilled with the amount of players who have joined our world," the company said.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe head Jim Ryan noted that this is the current best value ever for the top-selling console. Those who want to purchase the console for the holiday should do so as soon as possible because stocks could run out immediately at the discounted price.

The PlayStation 4 has been receiving price cuts for many regions as of late. The first of which was a price cut in Japan which was announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2015. And just this week, Australian shelves have begun selling the PlayStation 4 at a discounted price of AU$549.95.

Now would be a good time to join the PlayStation community as Sony has a slew of sales for titles available at the PlayStation Store. Aside from the weekly deals, PlayStation Europe also announced a special horror-game sale just in time for the Halloween season.

Tons of titles are up for grabs at a discounted price now. They include many AAA titles like “Bloodborne,” “Until Dawn” and ”Dying Light.” With the generosity of Sony when it comes to discounts, it’s now wonder that the console has been topping sales for months now.
