Sony Mobile posted the Android 5.1 Lollipop Software Update release flow among eligible Xperia devices. The details unveiled by Sony indicate which device will get it first, the next set and so on. Primarily, Android 5.1 Lollipop is set to be available first on eligible models released in 2013 and 2014 along with high-class units such as Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 starting the end of July.

  • Within this week, Sony will release the firmware for Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet.
  • Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra will be added in the coming weeks.
