The bond of bikers is coming back, and new cast members have been introduced for the spinoff. The latest additions to the gang are “Narcos” alum Maurice Compte and Venezuelan actress Carla Baratta.

Compte will play a highly-regarded DEA agent tasked to bring down the Galindo Cartel kingpin Miguel Castillo. However, his hunt for Castillo is not just a mere duty but an obsession. Sounds familiar? In “Narcos,” Compte also played the role of a law enforcement officer, Colombian police chief Horacio Carrillo, who hunts down drug cartel leader Pablo Escobar along with a couple of DEA agents. Aside from the Netflix crime drama, Compte also appeared in “Breaking Bad,” “Criminal Minds” and “From Dusk Til Dawn.”

Another “Breaking Bad” actor was previously announced to join the cast of the SOA spinoff. Raymond Cruz will play the role of Che "Padre" Romero, a full patch member of Mayans MC. Padre keeps a paternal eye out for the club and is the voice of reason in the MC.

Cruz is best known for his role as the psychopathic Mexican drug lord who became Walter White and Jesse Pinkman's meth trader in “Breaking Bad.” The actor also has a series regular role in TNT’s “Major Crimes.”

As for Baratta, she will play the role of Carnalita, whose family dies at the hands of the Galindo cartel. Her mission is to protect the children orphaned by cartel violence, The Hollywood Reporter notes.

Both Cruz and Compte’s characters will become recurring if “Mayans MC” gets picked up to a full-pledged series. The cast also include JD Pardo, Antonio Jaramillo, Clayton Cardenas, John Ortiz, Richard Cabral, Sarah Bolger and Edward James Olmos.

“Mayans MC” is set in the aftermath of Jax Teller’s death. The spinoff follows the life of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (Prado), a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the Cali-Mexi border. The character struggles with his desire for vengeance against the cartel and his need for respect from the women in his life.

In December 2016, FX ordered a pilot from showrunners Kurt Sutter and Elgin James. The episode will determine whether or not the spinoff develops into a full season. If picked up to a series, the show will likely air on FX in September. Sutter directed the pilot, while Elgin penned the script.

Meanwhile, the “Sons of Anarchy” spinoff is expected to be an action-packed drama. Sutter has shared a photo on Instagram to mark the end of the pilot shoot for “Mayans MC.” The image shows dark smoke surrounding two characters, one man standing in the street, a gun aimed at another on his knees.
