After putting a bullet in Gemma's (Katey Sagal) head in "Red Rose," Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) of FX biker drama series "Sons of Anarchy" chose to meet his fate in the show's series finale. It's not the happy ending that everyone wants but it's a fitting ending for Jax who has been conflicted between keeping his club and giving his sons a brighter future away from the mayhem in Charming.

Here are the five "Sons of Anarchy" Season 7, episode 13 highlights, SAMCRO's final ride.

Jax visiting Opie (Ryan Hurst) and Tara (Maggie Siff) in the cemetery.

Opie and Tara's death are two of the most heart breaking tragedies for Jax as he tries to steer the club to the right direction, a path where there is no killing and mayhem. But all his efforts are seem pointless when he vowed vengeance for his wife's death and left a trail of bodies along the way. He left his Sons rings on Opie's grave and his wedding ring on Tara's grave.

"When the time comes, she needs to tell my sons who I really am," the grieving biker told Nero before riding off on his father's motorcycle. "I'm not a good man. I'm a criminal and a killer. I need my sons to grow up hating the thought of me."
