Known for his role as Juice Ortiz in FX's biker drama series "Sons of Anarchy," Theo Rossi recently revealed during his interview the meaning behind his famous pie scene in the show's penultimate episode "Red Rose." With so many fans campaigning to save Juice, #SaveJuice movement, on the show's final season, the troubled biker chose to have his death in the hands of Ron Tully (Marilyn Manson).

Talking about Juice's famous pie scene in "Sons of Anarchy" Season 7, Episode 12, Rossi revealed that the pie symbolises everything for Juice. Eating the pie is like a celebration for him after he unloaded everything to Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and endured prison's brutality to murder Lin. For executive producer Paris Barclay, the pie represents the "happiness of his youth."

"Kurt [Sutter] is such a genius for so many reasons, and when it comes to writing, there's so many subtexts and undertones," the actor told Entertainment Weekly. "It's the hopes and dreams. It's his full innocence. You picture him as a youth eating pie, and at all these celebratory things in your life, you eat pie."

Relieved that he finally unloaded the burden that he's been carrying to cover up for Gemma, eating the pie is Juice's way to finally accept his fate. There is no way that he can go back to SAMCRO, and killing Tully is a direct betrayal to the club, so he only got one more move and that is to die happily with a clear conscience.

With so many people manipulating him, dying was his own choice, which according to Rossi is the best way to end his character who from the start is craving for family and approval. The classic line "Just let me finish my pie" is the biker's declaration that he is still in charge with his life when there's no way out but death.

Meanwhile, fans are still talking about Juice and Jax's scene on Episode 10, "Suits of Woe," when the ugly truth finally came out. The tattooed actor revealed that there was no rehearsal for the emotional scene and it was Abel (Ivan Londo) who made Juice confess everything to Jax for the hope that the innocent kid will not follow the path that they have taken.
