Kicking off 10 days after Tara's brutal death, FX "Sons of Anarchy" is set to premiere its seventh and final season as Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) vows vengeance for the murder of his wife in the hands of his own mother, Gemma (Katey Sagal). Executive producer and director Paris Barclay revealed recently that the show's finale would be like the famous ending of "Godfather," only a few people will get the chance to have the final ride.

"Yes, there will be someone left. There will be more than one, but not a lot more," revealed Barclay in an interview posted on Collider during the recent San Diego Comic Con. "The story that Kurt wants to tell ends up with the chickens coming home to roost, so bad things are gonna happen. It's like The Godfather. Not too many people that you saw at the beginning of The Godfather were there at the end."

Season 6 ended with a brutal murder that will lead SAMCRO's president transform into a Grim Reaper for the upcoming season. Packed with a bigger plot and an amazing story, SOA season 7 will showcase more characters that will bring more chaos and drama in Charming. It's like getting two seasons in one by featuring chunky episodes with more drama and action that fans can't get anywhere else.

Grappling with the loss of the woman he loved, Jax will open the show in the episode Black Widow mourning for his wife while being incarcerated. With his club supporting his plan for revenge, the long-haired biker will "set in motion the brutal machination that will lead to complete and merciless retribution," according to FX.

Fans of the show will surely want to see how SAMCRO's matriarch will play innocent in front of Jax knowing that she is the reason why her son is in a big mess. Gemma's final betrayal will make him question everyone's motives, unless you are in his gang or part of his family.

Sagal also admitted that Gemma is going to be duplicitous for season 7, for what's coming out of her mouth is completely different from what she's going to do. Knowing all the things that she is capable to do, she will do everything in her power to keep her family no matter what the cost. She is a force to be reckoned with, and her face-off with Jax is reportedly going to happen in episode 7 of the final season.

"Son of Anarchy" season 7 will kick on Sept. 9 for its fall premiere.
