Tuesday's episode of "Sons of Anarchy" season 7 ended with a tragic twist with Jax (Charlie Hunnam) receiving a box from August Marks with Bobby's (Mark Boone Junior) eye in it. Executive producer Paris Barclay revealed the story behind filming the intense scene where one of SAMCRO's oldest member gets his eye gouged out.

One of the most difficult scenes of the show, "Greensleeves" features Bobby in a van as Mark's men tried to scoop his eye using a grapefruit spoon. Not using the usual knife to extort someone's eye, series creator Kurt Sutter and Barclay decided that using a spoon with serrated edges will do the trick, just like how Gemma (Katey Sagal) killed Tara using a meat fork.

"If you actually pause it, you'll see, briefly, we introduced the serrated grapefruit spoon, which also plays an important role through the end of the series," the "Glee" director revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "Some things you can only see for a few frames in this episode really have a big role for the rest of our show. We did four or five takes. I mean, it's hard! It's hard to imagine the pain of having your eye gouged out."

Now in a grave danger, Bobby's life entirely depends on Jax's decision on whether he will make a good one or do the opposite that will cost another major death in his club. Barclay confessed that he is very concerned at this point of the show as more things are building up for the epic finale.

With Juice (Theo Rossi) is taking a step up by helping the club take Lin out of prison, the show continues to prolong the time when Jax finally learns the real truth behind his wife's death. The troubled gang member could've easily ratted out on Gemma but he chose to keep their secret, and Gemma continues to play innocent from her brutal crime.

Just when everybody thought that Gemma will finally face Jax's wrath, the show had another twist. Gemma helped Jax "flush some junk from an addict." An emotional roller-coaster ride for SAMCRO's matriarch, episode 7 continues to tease fans as it features one of Gemma's best storylines. "Sons of Anarchy" season 7, episode 8 returns to FX on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 10 P.M. ET.
