After playing SAMCRO’s President Jax Teller in FX biker drama series “Sons of Anarchy,” Charlie Hunnam wrapped up his biker role in December after the show’s seventh season. Now gearing up to play new roles in the big screen, the British actor revealed recently what he don’t like about Jax Teller.

“The thing I’ve had the most trouble with kind of, putting myself in the shoes and understanding is the infidelity,” Hunnam told Huffington Post. “But the infidelity and the sometimes lack of respect for women and the misogynistic flavour that seems to be pretty prolific in that world, I always find a little tricky.”

Growing up with a “fierce father” and an “equally fierce” mother made him respect women. In a world of mayhem and violence, playing the conflicted biker with a string of women at his disposal is a bit of a struggle for the 34-year-old actor.

The actor also admitted that he grew up in a household where people use violence to solve a problem and described his dad as a career-long criminal. So playing an outlaw character doesn’t bother him much and in some kind of perverse way he admired that kind of lifestyle.

When asked what kind of show he is into, the “Crimson Peak” star admitted that he is more like Netflix junkie and likes to watch HBO’s “Downtown Abbey.” Although he doesn’t seemed to be the guy who watch that kind of show, Hunnam revealed that he got into the show during his last off season and enjoyed the show’s four seasons.

Meanwhile, the actor was recently cast in Brad Pitt’s “Lost City of Z” based on David Grann’s 2009 book of the same name. Hunnam will play Percy Fawcett, a British surveyor who disappeared in the 1920’s in search for a mythical city in the Amazon jungles.

“Sherlock’s” Benedict Cumberbatch has been attached to play the lead role but dropped the project to join Marvel’s “Doctor Strange. Hunnam is set to play alongside “American Sniper” actress Sienna Miller and “Twilight” alum Robert Pattinson.

The actor is also set to play King Arthur in Guy Ritchie’s “Knight of the Roundtable: King Arthur” and is looking forward for “Pacific Rim” sequel. He is currently trying to set up two independent films and two films in development that he is producing.
