All set to become one of Hollywood's top lead actors, Charlie Hunnam is making a mark by appearing in films such “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur,” directed by Guy Ritchie, and Brad Pitt’s “The Lost City of Z.” The actor is currently in Wales for Richie’s Arthurian remake. Hunnam had once admitted that the next five years of his life is going to redefine his career.

Best known for his “Sons of Anarchy” role as SAMCRO’s Jax Teller, the blond star famously dropped the highly coveted role in “Fifty Shades of Grey” and signed up to play King Arthur in the six installment film.

The actor is also popular for saying weird things like when he described the awkward phases of his life punctuated by “brief moments where he feel smoother than Dr. Slinky McDoogle, inventor of the world mellifluous.”

On choosing his roles, the actor generally enjoys playing the villain and even has described his characters in “Children of Men” (2006) and “Green Street” as “psychotic roles.” Now moving from his SOA role, the 35-year-old star is excited to go back to his gypsy life, after says goodbye to his regimented routine for the past seven years because of playing the biker president in the fictional town of Charming.

Hunam was last seen in Wales. filming with “Cold Mountain” and “Queer as Folk” co-stars Jude Law ("Vortigern") and Aidan Gillen ("Goosefat Bill"). The highly anticipated film follows the life of the young King Arthur who does not know about his royal lineage until he grabs hold of the magical sword Excalibur.

Scheduled to premiere on July 22, 2016, “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur” also stars “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tide” actress Astrid Berges-Frisbey as the Arthurian love interest, Guinevere. Other stars in the film include Eric Bana sa Uther Pendragon, Poppy Delevingne as Arthur’s mother and Annabelle Wallis as Maid Maggie.

Here are Charlie Hunnam’s Top Five quotes. (Published by Charliehunnam.org)

  1. (On being constantly compared to Brad Pitt.) “There are definitely worse people to be compared to. [Laughs] I think Brad Pitt makes interesting decisions. In the early part of your career you’re always compared with somebody until you can stand on your own two feet.”
  2. “I always think it’s better to take a smaller role in a great film rather than a leading role in something that you don’t have complete faith in.”
  3. “I always liked the analogy of being an actor is sort of like being a prize fighter, you can live your life the way you want to, but once you know you have a fight coming up, your focus becomes absolutely singular, and you’re on task, and you learn as much as you can about your opponent, and you prepare yourself as thoroughly as possible, so that when you step into the ring you have all the tools at your disposal to get the job done.”
  4. (On frontal nudity) "The level of nudity that I do now, which is taking my shirt off, doesn't bother me at all. But I have done full frontal before. I did full frontal when I was 18 on the TV show "Queer as Folk." But because I was playing a 15-year-old character, the censorship people wouldn't allow us to put it on TV. I think when I was young, I was a little bit more fearless with that stuff."
  5. (On aging) "F--k you're getting old. But you still look good."
