The big “I Do” day for Sofia Vergara and fiance Joe Manganiello is fast approaching. The “Modern Family” actress is busy preparing for the wedding and has been spotted at a wedding designer store. The star has also visited a jewelry store to look for a special present for her husband-to-be.

Vergara visited wedding dress designer Mark Zunino’s Beverly Hills store on Wednesday, Nov. 11, where she stayed for nearly an hour, Entertainment Tonight (ET) reported. ET sources revealed that Zunino is designing one of the dresses that Vergara will wear during the wedding reception. Apart from Vergara’s wedding reception fashion, Zunino is also set to design the actress’ gowns for the upcoming Hollywood award season.

The famed designer even shared a selfie picture with Vergara on Instagram last week, commenting that he’s working on something for the actress’ “very special day.” He wrote, “Stay tuned to see what we're making for my friend Sofia!! A little something special for a very special day!!! #sofiavergara #MarkZunino #MarkZuninoBridal.”

Meanwhile, Vergara has chosen Beirut born designer Zuhair Murad to create a custom made bridal gown for her, according to an October report from US Weekly magazine. Murad has previously dressed Vergara in high profile Hollywood events such as the Golden Globes and Oscar awards.

Apart from meeting wedding designers and checking on progress of her special day dresses, Vergara also recently made time to look for a special gift for the “Magic Mike XXL” star. In a separate Us Weekly magazine report, a source shared that Vergara visited Beverly Hills’ XIV Karats store on Nov. 7 and was looking at loose rocks for the actor. The US Weekly source mentioned, “She was saying, ‘Joe wants this!’”

Vergara’s “Modern Family” co-stars also shared with US Weekly a few details about the actress’ upcoming wedding. During the Kids in the Spotlight Film Awards held in Los Angeles on Nov. 7, Nolan Gould teased that guests at the wedding may see flamboyant patterns and designs.

Gould, who plays Luke Dunphy in “Modern Family” told US Weekly, “In the makeup trailer, she talks about what place settings she's going to have and what it’s going to look like. Sofia's very flamboyant and she likes things big. I’m not giving specifics, but there might be animal-print tablecloths!”

“Modern Family” co-cast member Ty Burrell also shared with US Weekly that Vergara has remained “cool and very calm,” despite the busy wedding preparations. Burrell also described the actress as “a wonderful person” and that they’re all looking forward to the wedding.

Vergara and Manganiello are set to tie the knot on Nov. 22 in Florida.
