Snapdragon 810-Powered ‘Sony Xperia Z4 Compact’ And ‘Xperia Z4 Ultra’ Specifications Leaked

A recent report lists out the full specifications of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 Compact and the Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra smartphones. It is worth noting that, the aforesaid devices will reportedly be launched during the second quarter of 2015.

Speaking about the leaked specifications, the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact will reportedly feature a 4.7-inch display, complemented by a 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution. The handset is believed to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and backed by a solid 3 GB of RAM. Furthermore, the handset will come equipped with 32 GB of built-in storage and will also flaunt stereo speakers, says Phone Arena.

Moreover, Sony will maintain the same 20.7 MP camera as the primary unit and a 5 MP shooter at the front for selfies. Notably, the company has always been gracious when it comes to camera; hence, the 20.7 MP sensor will be maintained in the upcoming device as well. Additionally, the Xperia Z4 Compact will reportedly be IP68 certified and will support LTE Cat. 9, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC and wireless charging.

The Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra, on the other hand, will come with a seriously-huge 6.44-inch display and 1,440 x 2,560 pixels resolution. Similar to the Z4 Compact, this handset will also be powered by the Snapdragon 810 SoC and 3 GB of RAM configuration. Plus, there will reportedly be a 16 MP rear-facing camera unit. Adding a cherry on top, the Z4 Ultra will come equipped with its own stylus. And if reports are true, the device will be backed by a battery unit weighing between 3,500 mAh and 4,000 mAh.

Meanwhile, a recent news report stated that, due to the delay in the mass production of the Snapdragon 810 chipset, both Xperia Z4 Compact and Z4 Ultra will be delayed. And hence the launch date will be postponed to Q2 of 2015. Nonetheless, the flagship Sony Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z4 Tablet will reportedly be announced on Jan. 5, prior to the CES 2015 event.
