Beijing restaurants more than just feed hungry diners. It also cater to their other needs such as feeding male libido which the Guolihuang Restaurant does by serving dishes with animal genitals known for being aphrodisiacs.

However, with the rise in the purchasing power of millennials, a newly opened dining establishment, Ke’er, also in the Chinese capital city, sells food and sex. Lu Lu, the 27-year-old owner, says she decided to mix the two basic human desires which had remained unchanged over the past five millenniums.

The S&M restaurant opened in 2015 and has been enjoying brisk business with its seafood menu, which have attractive names such as “Sensuous World” and “Horny.” Drinks are served in cups shaped like female breasts and bottle openers shaped like a penis, reports Reuters.

The good business the restaurant enjoys is because among Chinese millennials, who are Lu Lu’s patrons, sex is no longer considered a taboo, unlike during their parent’s time. But since Ke'er – which is “shell” in Chinese – is in a conservative nation, Beijing authorities closed the naughty restaurant for two weeks because of a recent performance art show in which customers were allowed to touch the breast of a woman, although she had clothes on.

Breast teasing is not limited to performers, even the waiters use aprons with breast on them, while inflatable naked dolls are displayed on the restaurant’s shelves.

Lu Lu adds that she plans to offer handcuffs to female diners, while their male companions feed them. Male customers could also whip the waitresses. That’s because Lu Lu’s concepts for the restaurant are release your basic instinct and liberate yourself, notes Dmarge.
