Lady Gaga's appetite for Italian food caused her to gain weight and the "Born This Way" singer claimed that she has no regrets at all with her current full body figure. However, critics made fun of Lady Gaga's weight gain and even called her fat which made the talented singer lash out at the harsh comments.

Examiner.com reported that Lady Gaga's record label had already ordered her to start slimming down. The "Born This Way" singer has been battling the pressure from the media over her weight ever since she catapulted to stardom in the music scene.

"To all the girls that think you're ugly because you're not a size 0, you're the beautiful one. It is society who's ugly," Lady Gaga posted on her Twitter account with an attached photo of sex symbol Marilyn Monroe.

"Thanks to my fans who love me no matter what and know the meaning of real beauty and compassion. I really love you," the singer twitted.

During a recent concert performance in Amsterdam, Lady Gaga stunned a lot of people with her plus size figure. Now, the pop superstar revealed that she is back on yoga and a healthy food diet to have her slim and toned physique once again.

"I'm dieting right now, because I gained, like, 25 pounds," Lady Gaga shared. "And I really don't feel bad about the weight gain, not even for a second, because I have to be on such a strict diet constantly."

Born Stefani Germanotta of Italian descent, the young and successful singer emphasized that the young girls of today's generation must learn how to value themselves and not feel the pressure of the self-destructive cycles of diet habits and self-loathing. She confessed battling bulimia at some point in her life, which she said she overcame to save her singing voice.

"Every video I'm in, every magazine cover, they stretch you. They make you perfect. It's not real life," Lady Gaga said. "I'm gonna say this about girls: The dieting wars have got to stop. Everyone just knock it off. Because at the end of the day, it's affecting kids your age. And it's making girls sick," Lady Gaga added.
