Swimming pools are coming next month to "The Sims 4" included in the three-month free patches from EA and Maxis. Know which things should be available on the swimming pool update.

Swimming Pools Coming Next Month

EA and Maxis committed three months of free patch updates to "The Sims 4" players, and next month, swimming pools are coming. Pools are not included in the core game released a couple of months ago unlike with the first three game titles.

In the first three game titles, swimming pools are included with certain objects that add interactions and customisations. Players with experience on "The Sims 3" will likely look for the Build Mode tools for pools and designs, which is something EA and Maxis have not unveiled yet on the latest game.

Objects And Tools On Swimming Pools Based On 'The Sims 3'

Swimming pools are built using the Build Mode instead of the Buy Mode on "The Sims 3." Players can create two design types of pools—standard and curved—customisable anytime during the game. Curved pools have been added by the Late Night expansion pack.

The Pool Tool acts similarly with the Terrain Tool, except it digs its way to create a pool of water. In addition to the allowed swimming pools outside, the game also enables pools indoors, provided the player follows the in-game construction instructions.

Once a pool has been created, players can start adding effects such as slides, diving boards, pool ladders and pool lights. To make it more exciting, additional effects can also be included such as mosaics and pool bars. If pool bars are installed in the player-controlled house, a Sim must manage it to make drinks. Mixology skill is require to mix great drinks. If pool bars are installed in community lots, mixologists will automatically be present during working hours with the option for the player to interact "Moonlight As Mixologist" on a controlled Sim having appropriate skill level. So here are some things players should look after once the update has been released:

- Number of pool designs available

- Pool accessories possible to be installed

- Pool bars and mixologists

- Objects that can be used to relax on the pool

- Interactions when using the pool.
