Gaming experience on "The Sims 4" can still be improved if players are tired of dealing with default in-game rules set by EA and Maxis. Here are five mods downloadable for free to enhance and alter several game settings.

Setting The Bills Low

"The Sims 4" features expensive bills coming in every week that can be maddening for some players. So a mod has been uploaded to set the bills to constant 100 simoleons - enough time for the player to save funds before going back to default.

Mgomez uploaded the mod and it modifies the "bills.py" value to 100 whenever the "get_bill_amount" is commanded by the game. It forces the bill to be set on constant 100 simoleons every week regardless on how many furniture and appliance bought by the player. However, the mod will conflict to other mods which also edit the same files related to weekly bills for Sims. Click here to download Very Low Bills mod for free.

Censorship No More

As usual, EA and Maxis enabled the graphical mosaic or censorship on "The Sims 4" whenever Sims performs sensitive tasks such as peeing or taking a bath. Moxiemason uploaded a censor removal mod for the game which eliminates the graphical mosaic effect on Sims applied during specific actions.

If installed, players can truly see what Sims look like when peeing, taking shower or simply naked. The mod edits the resource file "0x545AC67A 0x00D4FA33 0XDEAD4915C9C6C0D8" located in the "ClientFullBuild0.package." So any other mod that edits the same resource could conflict with this censor removal mod.

Families And Babies For Everyone

Having a baby on "The Sims 4" is only allowed on heterosexual Sims as per default setting, but a mod can alter the setting and enables any couple whether heterosexual or homosexual to have babies. It is called "Babies For Everyone" uploaded by AgonistAgent that allows pregnancy on lesbian, gay, elder and straight Sims. The mod simply disables the gender check for Try For Baby social interactions with extended age range and enables the male pregnancy event. Unusual Relationships

Sims never engages on strange relationships such as incest or polygamy but "Forbidden Mod" by Billy Rand uploaded via YouTube changes several default in-game rules about Sims relationship. It affects romantic relationships on various categories including family and age.

Once in effect, the mod enables strange romantic relationships such as incest including teens, multiple marriages even with teens and affairs on different age groups - teens and adults. In addition to these strange romances, the mod also allows teen pregnancy and teen marriage on the game.

Enhancing Quality Of Lights

For lighting effects, Shimrod101 uploaded a mod that improves overall lighting on "The Sims 4." It primarily enhances indoor lighting which will look brighter than the default game settings and will spread ambient lights in all rooms. Other effects include:

- Sims facing away from the light source will never be dark again

- Improved sunlight from windows

- Increased SS Ambient Occlusion

- Game setting for lights is usable to prevent washing out colours

- Also affects outdoor lighting

"The Sims 4" is now available via Origin with free contents supported by EA and Maxis for October featuring Star Wars costume suit. The game will also receive two additional free contents on November and December 2014.
