Aside from swimming pools, certain careers paths and rewards, there are still more missing elements on "The Sims 4." Here are five of many missing features that unknown if will be added to the game from future updates.

NPC For Babies

Unlike with previous game instalment, "The Sims 4" does not have any NPC that serves as babysitter or nanny for the household. Instead, the baby will be automatically sent to the day-care centre when all other Sims left the lot.

Digging Your Way Down

"The Sims 4" does not support basement floors while the two previous game titles can support up to four levels of basement floors. Having basements offers creation rooms and keeping objects below the surface. In "The Sims 3," basements are essential for Nectar Making to age nectars in order to get higher price when sold.

Curfew Time For Children And Teens

Curfew added on "The Sims 3" created special events among children and teens Sims outside the home lot during late hours. One of these special events is getting caught by the police and escorted back home which will be followed by scolding from an adult. Being grounded is also applicable if the Generations expansion pack has been installed.

No More Newspapers

Newspaper has been a part of "The Sims" game series since the first instalment but not found on the fourth instalment. Newspaper for Sims contains information such as getting a job, knowing the current weather, increase skills such as Logic, finding discount classes and checking weekly events. All of these functionalities can now be performed on a computer or smartphone in "The Sims 4."

Hiring A Repairman

Repairman is an NPC which repairs every broken household object at a price. However, "The Sims 4" does not feature this NPC and players will have to deal with every broken household item. There is no risk on repairing certain items such as toilet bowl or a shower but fixing an electronic device can electrocute a Sim.

Other Essential Stuff Missing In The Game

There are several other missing stuffs in "The Sims 4" which appeared on previous game titles and unknown if will be featured on the next two patches from EA and Maxis. Here are some of these missing features compiled by TS4News:

- Create A Style on clothing and items.

- Additional Terrain Tools aside from paint.

- Bookstores and grocery stores

- Burglars

- Diseases and illness
