'The Sims 4' Patch Version 1.0.797.20

A new patch has been released by EA for "The Sims 4" on Windows computers in Oct. 21 to resolve several crash issues and add tuning on other problems. Most of these issues repaired by EA are based from feedbacks sent by gamers.

Crashes and Performance Fixes

- Fixed the issue on infinite loading after all Sims in a household had died.

- Fixed a performance issue that can cause too many hidden Sims being created for "just in case" scenarios.

- Scrolling left in the Memory timeline will no longer freeze your game.

- Fixed an issue that was caused by placing a Sim from the gallery into multiple households causing the appearance to revert to the original or makes the household unplayable.

- Fixed an issue that caused the player unable to place a room from the Gallery if the room had been uploaded with a single plate of food.

Tuning

- Fixed an appearance issue that caused Sims to appear with small eyes and wide jaws when aging up.

- Sims can re-marry again if their fiancé has died.

- Players can allow Sims to age up with a cake, regardless of the Auto Age setting.

- Fixed an issue on Sims not being properly given their relationship status as widows and widowers.

- Sims made from the same Gallery will now properly populate the world.

- Fixed an issue on Ambrosia to be copied in Build Mode and delivery of an empty plate with FX only.

- Resurrected ghosts using Ambrosia will properly age up normally.

- Fixed an issue with the Throw 5 Parties goal not counting thrown parties correctly.

- Fixed an issue preventing ghosts from being valid targets in some Sim Picker dialogues, such as Write Love Email or Send Spam Money Request to.

- Teens can now write Love Emails to other Teens.

- Ghostly Repair will now satisfy the Repair an Object.

- Added a venue wall speaker for the Spooky station into the debug catalogue.

- Fixed an issue that would cause a Sim to attempt to repair a working shower.

User Interface And Text

- Manage households will no longer display empty households due to Sims dying from old age.

- Fixed an improper string which resulted in the first goal of the Writing aspiration informing players to "Read 1 Book at the Library" rather than the correct goal of "Beat Writer's Block."
