"The Sims 4" so-called forbidden mods can modify the restrictions implemented by EA and Maxis on Sims regarding romantic relationships and making babies. Players using these mods can now enable pregnancy on teen Sims and older, have multiple marriages, and have kids between same-sex couples.

Billy Rand's Forbidden Mod

Mod developer Billy Rand at YouTube posted several videos about modifications on the marriage and pregnancy rules of "The Sims 4." Based on the video titles uploaded at the site, it affects the following in-game rules and experience:

1. Teen Pregnancy

2. Teen Marriage

3. Incest between Sims including teens

4. Polygamy or multiple marriages including teens

5. Nude Woohoo or Try For Baby social interactions

6. Romantic relationships between cross ages such as adult and teens

Interested players can download the mods by visiting this site. Keep in mind that any mods that have the same effect or edits the functionality of what the mods do, as mentioned above, can generate issues and glitches. It is recommended that you use only one mod per each specific effect to avoid issues.

Babies For Everyone

As an alternative which has been reported before, Babies For Everyone mod allows players to have gay or lesbian relationships and enjoy pregnancy. The mod enables pregnancy for male Sims and elder Sims through Equal Opportunity Mischief (Ask Due Date) social interactions once installed on the game. Here are the notes from the mod uploader regarding the use of Babies For Everyone mod on "The Sims 4:"

- As of the September 9, 2014 patch, this and any other XML tuning mod will require some setup on the Mods folder in order to work.

- The mod does not allow selection of which Sim will be pregnant after Try For Baby social interaction has been successful.

- It will conflict to any mod which changes Try For Baby, Ask Due Date or any associated social interactions.

- No pregnancy test or breastfeeding options for male Sims.

- Moodlet will still refer to a female Sim regardless if it is a pregnant male Sim.
