Simon Cowell has spoken up for the first time about the news of Louis Tomlinson’s baby with LA-based stylist Briana Jungwirth. The manager of One Direction revealed he’s talked to the singer and even gave him some piece of advice about fatherhood.

Simon Cowell revealed during an exclusive interview with The Sun’s Dan Wootton that he was among the first people Louis Tomlinson told about the baby. Being a father himself, the “X-Factor” judge said he told the 23-year old to “man up” since he’s fortunate to be given the chance to look after the baby. He reportedly also told Louis not to worry too much about the child.

“He got someone pregnant. It happens every day all over the world,” he said. “Again, Louis has got great family around him and, look, it’s a plus, not a negative,” Simon added.

Simon Cowell, being the ever supportive manager, said he will always be there for Louis Tomlinson no matter what. According to Now Magazine UK, he also thinks the pregnancy will not affect his career with One Direction.

Louis Tomlinson has yet to comment on the news of his baby with Briana Jungwirth. However, he made his first public appearance following the news when he joined One Direction for their “On the Road Again” world tour. The soon-to-be father performed in Seattle, Washington where he was welcomed with a baby toy while performing on stage.

According to Mirror UK , the singer didn’t look too pleased when the toy doll was handed to him on stage. In the video below, the singer could be heard saying “outrageous it’s not real” before throwing the baby doll off the stage.

It’s unclear whether Louis Tomlinson was reacting to the baby being a toy or he was commenting on the news of his baby with Briana Jungwirth. After One Direction’s show, the singer broke his Twitter silence following the news of his impending fatherhood. It’s uncertain if Louis Tomlinson was thanking fans for their support for the band or for his baby with Briana Jungwirth.

A source told US Weekly that Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth may not be in a relationship but they are very excited about the baby. The singer reportedly didn’t expect to be a father but another source revealed to Mirror UK that he has been with the stylist for all her ultrasound check-ups. It’s believed he will also be present when she gives birth.
