Record producer and DJ Daniel Alan Maman, professionally known as Alchemist, has nothing but praises for rapper Marshall Mathers famously known as Eminem, who recently collaborated with Sia on “The Equalizer” soundtrack “Guts Over Fear.”

“I couldn't think of anyone on the Earth that I would put in front of Eminem that could out rap him,” Alchemist, who is also a rapper, told Vlad TV. “I'll say that much.”

Currently, Alchemist is working with Eminem as a DJ. He is also signed as an in-house producer to Shady Records, the record label co-founded by Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg in 1999.

Eminem’s protégé Curtis James Jackson III famously known as 50 Cent was signed with Shady Records from 2002 to 2014 before signing with Caroline Records and Capitol Records. Like 50 Cent, rappers Cashis, Obie Trice, Stat Quo and Bobby Creekwater also used to be signed with Shady Records.

Aside from Eminem, Shady Records has four current acts including rapper Yelawolf, rapper duo Bad Meets Evil, and rapper groups D12 and Slaughterhouse. Eminem is a member of D12 along with Bizarre, Fuzz Scoota, Kuniva, Mr. Porter and Swifty McVay while the Slaughterhouse members are Royce da 5’9”, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Joe Budden.

When asked about the chances of Eminem and Slaughterhouse against rivals in the present battle rap scene, Alchemist said that Eminem can be put in anything. He added, “He's above all that. You don't even ask that. I don't know, man.”

Recently, Eminem’s third studio album “The Marshall Mathers LP” turned 15. Released by Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records on March 23, 2000, the album became the fastest-selling studio album by a solo artist in the United States.

Meanwhile, “Thinkin’ Out Loud” hitmaker Ed Sheeran said in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly that he has yet to meet Eminem although there was an opportunity for him to meet the Detroit rapper when he went to “Saturday Night Live.”

On the other hand, Sheeran did not meet Eminem because producer Rick Rubin told him Eminem would not know who he is unless he is an underground rapper from Detroit. Also, Sheeran added that his favorite rapper to listen to is The Game and not Eminem.
