"Shots Fired" starring Sanaa Lathan as Detective Ashe, Richard Dreyfuss as Arlen Cox, Stephan James as Preston Terry, Stephen Moyer as Lieutenant Breeland and Will Patton as Sheriff Platt will have a new episode titled "Hour Seven: Content of Their Character." It will feature a lot of exciting scenes which include the ongoing investigation of the controversial shooting incident. Plus, another compromising video of sheriff's deputy Joshua Beck (Tristan Wilds) surfaces. Read on for the latest "Shots Fired" 2017 episode guide.

"Shots Fired" Season 1, episode 7 will show the district attorney (DA) sending a new team to investigate the case, according to a press release from FOX. He will inform Preston about it. However, he is much more interested in uncovering the truth. Meanwhile, a witness is willing to give a testimony of what really happened on the night Joey Campbell died. Unfortunately, there will be conflicting stories about the case that could greatly affect the testimony. Plus, another compromising video that features Beck will be released. J. A sneak peek video was posted on FOX's official YouTube channel. It shows Ashe telling Preston that some people want them to walk away from the case. "Yeah, well I'm not built like that," Preston tells her. There are also scenes that show riots during protests. Watch the video at the end of this article.

The other "Shots Fired" cast members such as Helen Hunt as Governor of North Carolina Patricia Eamons, Jill Hennessy as Alicia Carr, Mack Wilds as Deputy Beck, DeWanda Wise as Shameeka Campbell, Aisha Hinds as Pastor Janae James, Conor Leslie as Sarah and Clare-Hope Ashitey as Kerry Beck will also appear in "Hour Seven: Content of Their Character." According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), Dave Blamy (Sergeant Baines), Julian Brittano (Julian), Marqus Clae (Cory), Brett Cooper (Tess Breeland), Robert Crayton (Ronald), Anthony Dalton (Anthony) and Edwina Findley Dickerson (Shirlane) will be seen in this episode as guest stars. Watch out for scenes featuring Rhoda Griffis (Doreen Platt), Jacob Leinbach (Jesse Carr), Mickey Mikes (Gate Station ATMOS), Alano Miller (Dom), Markice Moore (Lyndon) and Cullen Moss (Brock).

'Shots Fired' episodes

"Hour Seven: Content of Their Character" will be aired in the US on May 3. The episode before it is titled "Hour Six: The Fire This Time," which was directed by Jonathan Demme and written by Jeff Stetson. After these episodes, "Hour Eight: Rock Bottom" and "Hour Nine: Come to Jesus" will be aired in the US on May 10 and May 17.

"Shots Fired" airs in Australia on Mondays on Showcase. The FOX drama also airs in the US on Wednesdays from 8-9 pm EST.
