Shia Labeouf "found God" while filming "Fury". In an interview with the Interview magazine, the actor revealed that during the film shoot he turned into a devout Christian in a "real way," and "surrendered" himself to the religion. The 28-year -old actor's new found faith in Christianity is said to be because of his co-actor Brad Pitt.

"I became a Christian man, and not in a fu----ng bull---- way, in a very real way. I had good people around me who helped me. Brad [Pitt] was really instrumental in guiding my head through this," Shia said to the magazine. Shia plays a man of religion in "Fury," and his character is spiritually inclined. He further revealed that he could not have said the prayers on screen if he would not have understood the religion.
