'Shadowhunters' Season 2 episode 14 spoilers: The Seelie Queen summons Clary and Jace in 'The Fair Folk' [VIDEO]

"Shadowhunters," which stars Katherine McNamara as Clarissa "Clary" Fairchild, Dominic Sherwood as Jonathan Christopher "Jace" Wayland, Emeraude Toubia as Isabelle Lightwood, Harry Shum Jr. as Magnus Bane, Isaiah Mustafa as Luke Garroway, Alberto Rosende as Simon Lewis and Matthew Daddario as Alexander "Alec" Lightwood, will have a new episode titled "The Fair Folk," which airs on Freeform on June 26. It will show The Seelie Queen summoning Clary and Jace. Read on to learn more.

According to Zap2it, in "Shadowhunters" Season 2, episode 14, Jace and Clary will meet the Seelie Queen who has summoned the two. Meanwhile, Alec is thinking of mending fences with the Downworlders.

A promo video of this episode was posted on the official YouTube channel of Freeform. It shows scenes featuring Alec telling Clary and Jace that he needs them for a mission to go to the Seelie Court.

"Seelies can expertly manipulate the truth and the Queen's the master," Jace tells Clary. "What could go wrong?" Clary asks rhetorically.

Jace warns Simon and Clary that they can't touch or smell anything while in the area of the Seelies. Unfortunately, Simon and Jace get captured and the only way to free them is for Clary to kiss the one she desires the most.

“Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland tweeted about appearing on the show soon, and some fans have speculated that she will play the Seelie Queen. Others who have seen the episode preview on YouTube insist that the Seelie Queen’s voice sounds like Hyland’s. However, Hyland hasn’t confirmed nor denied it. This episode was written by Taylor Mallory.

'Shadowhunters' episodes

The episode before "Fair Folk" was "Those of Demon Blood," which aired on June 19, It was directed by Michael Goi and written by Zac Hug. It showed the Shadowhunters suspecting the Downworlders of going on a killing spree of their kind. Jace also locked Simon up, which Clary questioned. Plus, Alec asked Magnus for a sample of his hair for a DNA test. After "The Fair Folk," the next episode will be "A Problem of Memory," which airs on July 10.

"Shadowhunters," which is based on Cassandra Clare's "The Mortal Instruments" series of novels, airs in Australia on Netflix. It also airs in the US on Freeform at 8 pm ET/PT on Mondays.
