TV Guide reports that on Sunday’s episode, Harlee decides to delve into a case that would soon land her in hot water. Her investigation makes her a target of both Wozniak and the FBI. Meanwhile, trouble is brewing at the precinct when a newbie threatens to expose the crew’s darkest secrets.

“Shades of Blue” also posted sneak peeks for the March 12 episode on its official YouTube page [watch below]. In the clip, Harlee points out to Wozniak that there’s no road out of their mess that doesn’t go through Julia. Later, he wonders how much his friend Julia has changed. Julia, who’s running for mayor, is seen telling Harlee, “Politics at this level – there’s always a price.” When a woman’s body turns up, Harlee suspects that Julia is somehow connected with the Mafia. “It’s Mafia money straight into Julia’s pocket,” Harlee claims.

Another scene shows Stahl ordering Wozniak to wear the wire and get Councilwoman Ayres on record. In response, Wozniak throws the wire, breaking a glass window. Meanwhile, Stahl tells Harlee that Miguel has dropped off the grid. Unknown to Harlee, her daughter Cristina calls Stahl and volunteers some information to help track down her dad.

Stahl is seen telling Harlee later that he knows she’s still keeping secrets from him. Realising that Stahl cannot be trusted, she tells Wozniak that the FBI agent is unstable. To avoid Stahl's wrath, Harlee and Wozniak feel compelled to go after one of their own. The last scene shows Harlee telling someone over the phone, “Officer down!”

“Eye of the Hurricane” also features recurring cast members Blake Andrew Johnson (Justin Stahl), Alana O'Brien (Marta Stahl), Vanessa Vander Pluym (Gina Rodriguez) and Rick Zahn (Judge Fowler), according to the Internet Movie Database, or IMDb.
