Serena Williams leads an all-star cast in the annual international team indoor hard court tennis tournament Hopman Cup in Perth, Western Australia. The tournament, which is also known as the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Mixed Team Championships, also boasts other tennis greats including Eugenie Bouchard, Jo-Wilfriend Tsonga, Andy Murray, and Agniezka Radwanska. Canberra native Nick Kyrgios is also slated to take part in the tournament.

Serena will be playing for her third Hopman Cup in 2015. She has won the title in 2003 with James Black and in 2008 with Mardy Fish. In 2015, Serena will play with upcoming American athlete Jack Sock, who currently ranks 70th in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world rankings. Sock has reportedly had grand slam success in doubles, according to Sydney Morning Herald.

According to tournament Director Paul Kilderry via SMH, Serena is excited to play. "She's a huge tennis star, but I think she transcends tennis, and she is probably the biggest female athlete in the world."

Below is the complete list of players who will play for their home turf in the said mixed gender tennis competition. The 2015 Hopman Cup features two Grand Slam champions, five Grand Slam finalists, and nine top 20 players.

France is the defending champion, represented by Tsonga and Cornet, who are also confirmed participants for 27th edition of tournament next year. The 2015 Hopman Cup will take place at the Perth Arena from Jan. 4 to Jan. 10, 2015.
