Now that Selena's "Spring Breakers" shoot has finally wrapped up, it's time to tuck in the bikinis and shed off the hair highlights for a whole new different film.

Gomez is set to star in another movie, "Aftershock" and so the hair transformation has begun. Step back in time and check out Selena Gomez's lovely looks with her locks.

For her television stint, "Wizards of Waverly Place" on Disney, the charming, Selena Gomez donned luscious curls which were pretty much her hair statement as opposed to country singer, Taylor Swift's curly blonde locks. In an interview with People Magazine, the then 15-year old actress admitted to not being content with her hair and her looks.

"When I was younger, I wanted to be blond and blue-eyed," shared Selena. "Now, I love the fact that I'm half-Italian and half-Mexican and I have dark features. I love being who I am."

During her appearance at the 53rd Grammy Awards of 2011, the singer flaunted her newly highlighted hair. Though it isn't much compared to her blue and violet highlights, Selena's face and features adapt well to any hair color.

Selena Gomez's hair went from long and curly to long and straight but her most dare move was when she completely cut off her hair for a short shoulder length bob. The singing sensation inspired a few more other Hollywood actresses to shed off the lengthy locks for a shorter 'do which resembles a bold move made by the British actress, Emma Watson of the "Harry Potter" franchise.

Her purple and blue highlights accentuated her "We Own the Night" World Tour plus it gave off the fresh, flirty vibe for her role as Faith in the film, "Spring Breakers." During Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards last April 1, Selena rocked her short curly hairstyle plus a mid-riff baring dress.

Now that she's up for another film, Selena has ditched the girly hair 'do with a sophisticated look. Gomez is said to take part in Eli Roth's up and coming horror flick, "Aftershock" which is about a group of girls who survive an earthquake in Chile.

"Spring breakers is done now hairs done for the next movie! :)" tweeted Selena along with her new hair 'do courtesy of her celebrity hairstylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri.
