"Selenators" and "Directioners" have a lot to celebrate because songs from their idols managed to top the Billboard charts. Selena Gomez's collects her first number one on the Billboard 200 with "Stars Dance." The same goes for One Direction with their "Best Song Ever."

2013 was certainly proving to be a great year for the boys of One Direction and Selena Gomez. Gomez and the boys of 1D both have songs on the Billboard 200 which have been doing great by far. "Stars Dance" by Gomez garnered sales of over 97 thousand copies in its first week. Also, Gomez was the youngest solo female artist to hit the Billboard number one spot since her BFF, Taylor Swift, in 2010. Billboard's Hot 200 is as listed below.

As for "Best Song Ever," it continues to be on the Billboard top charts dropping to number two this week but still manages to be the number one song for the hottest digital song list.
