Her recent photo shoot set Hollywood on fire, as she posed with a black-and-white blazer and lace-up bodysuit for photographer Asis Jerome. She put up her pictures in Instagram on Sunday. Check out a few. She looks stunning in wet hair and highlighted eyeshadow. Many would say that her "Wizards of Waverly Place" colleagues would turn green, according to E! Online.

Selena Gomez is admittedly one of the prettiest film stars yet. Apart from her references to Jerome, she hasn't said anything in her captions about the photographs. Yet her "striped trenchcoat" immediately lured all eyes and drew attention to her "laced-up black bodysuit!" according to Perez Hilton.

However, her photos may still not make things too clear to one person---herself. She is struggling to turn mature, but hasn't really succeeded though she is "trying to figure out" who she is. As she admitted that this year has been full of people telling her that she should be like herself, she hasn't really been able to figure out who that is, she said, when she appeared on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" earlier this month.

Moreover, she added that she has "grown-up haters." She gets picked on by them all the time," she told E News. She says she doesn't "get it," but is baffled. She wants to just ask them what they were doing at 15 years, or 18 years, or 21. "Because I can guarantee you it's not half of what I've done," she adds.

Selena has had a stormy year with her fair share of news, mainly due to her "on again, off again" relationship with Justin Bieber. Earler this year, she had gone to Dawn at The Meadows in Wickenburg, Arizona, and even checked in for treatment all week. But on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday, Gomez said that she is putting in efforts to work on herself. When asked to talk about her progress on a scale from 1 to 10, she added that she is on "a seven," according to E! News. Recently, she joined "Rudderless," on Friday, whose script she found "extremely touching." She said she wanted to act with William H. Macy and Billy Crudup, from whom she could learn a lot.
